Cub Scouts
For boys who want to have fun, who love excitement, who want to make new friends and learn new things, Cub Scouts has all that and more! It’s fun with a purpose. From camping to crafts, bowling to Olympic sports, pinewood derby races to outdoor skills, Cub Scouts has something for everyone!
In the Cub Scouting program, boys learn to “do their best” and to be helpful to others. They learn to respect their homes, country, and other people. Each boy has the opportunity to develop new skills, independence, and values to help them throughout their lives. The mission of the Cub Scouts is to prepare boys to be responsible citizens of good character. Cub Scout activities develop character, encourage mental and physical fitness, and help produce citizens ready to be a meaningful part of American society.
In its many years at Don Benito, Pack 37 has served the Pasadena and Don Benito communities through a variety of service projects. We have also participated in a variety of fun activities including bowling, pack movie nights, camping (locally and at Camp Cherry Valley on Catalina Island), our annual Pinewood Derby race, and Scout Expo.
Cub Scouts is for all Don Benito boys in 1st to 5th grade. Boys are grouped into dens (small groups) with the same grade level and same Cub rank. Don Benito’s Pack 37 is welcoming new Cubs now for the new school & Pack year! For more information please contact Michelle Chaldu at kwongdzu00@hotmail.com.
