Gifted and Talented Education Program (GATE)
The GATE program is for students determined to be academically talented. At Don Benito, these students are at each grade level in a class with a GATE certified teacher in order to provide them with instruction that keeps them challenged and engaged and enables them to excel academically. Currently, all students are tested for the GATE Program at the end of second and fifth grades.
