Emergency Preparedness

At Don Benito, we can assure all families and students that we are prepared for disasters should they happen when we are in session.

We have monthly practice drills, so that no matter the situation, our staff is ready to go into action to protect our students from any harm. In addition to our monthly practice drills all the schools in the Pasadena Unified School District, including Don Benito, participate in the California Great Shake Out Drill held every October.  This year the drill will be held on October 19 at 10:19 am. The Great California ShakeOut is an annual opportunity to practice how to be safer during big earthquakes.
